You know Maija Isola's art and designs even if you don't recognise them.  Her works were often inspired by nature in all its forms and her designs for Marimekko helped propel that company into the world. She was an amazing artist and designer and her personal life was turbulent too. This film is like a work of art itself.  A must.

Aalto; Architect of Emotions  Sun 26th March 2.30  (Fin-Eng with some subs) Modernist Finnish master Alvar Aalto. A love story and the origins of modernism all in the one film. Revealing and absorbing.
