CORSAGE  Wed 22 Feb 7pm. Shortlisted for the Oscars Best International Film. (German-French with Eng Subs) Empress Elizabeth from Austria-Hungary rankles at the restrictions of the court. High end art house film.

Building Bastille Tue 7 Mar 7pm Canadian_French with Eng subs)   The 1980's.  The French need a new opera House and an unknown Canadian architect wins the award to build it. Trouble starts immediately - 5 stars!

SHACKLETON Thu 9 Mar  7pm  (Aus)  28 lost adventurers in Antartica/an incredible story retold by adventurer Tim Jarvis with stunning archive and modern day footage which shows the ice world now in full retreat.

Aalto Sun 12th March 2.30  (Fin-Eng with some subs) Modernist Finnish master Alvar Aalto. A love story and the origins of modernism all in the one film. Revealing and absorbing.

All The Beauty and The Bloodshed  (U.S.) Tue 14th march 7pm  Artist Nan Goldin tells her story and takes on Big Pharma- its Oscars bound- an art film and a protest film all in one and both stories are profound. Must see.

Corners Of The Earth: Kamchatka  Mon 20th Mar (Aus) A surf trip to Russia's north east just as Putin invades Ukraine. Make Surf not War in the most inhospitable conditions in the world is the motto here as friendships are formed that break down barries.  Featuring a Q&A WITH STARS OF THE FILM LETTY MORTENSON & FRASER DOVELL AND FILMMAKERS SPENCER FROST, GUY WILLIMENT & LUKE KNELLER

We Are Still Here Tue 21st Mar 7pm  (Aus-NZ)  10 linked short films in varying genres by ten Indigenous Australian and Māori filmmakers about culture, heritage, history and humanity. "Thrilling and memorable." The Guardian
