As the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Brelin Wall approaches a reporter for a sensationalist magazine calls on video-shop rental owner Micha Hartung (a terrific and perfect Charly Hubner) to interview him about his alleged involvement in the biggest mass escape in the history of the GDR. A train that crossed from East Berlin to the West with not a shot fired.
Sensing a payoff, Micha hits up the suitably slimy journalist for some money to tell his story which he exaggerates for a bigger pay off.
