As the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Brelin Wall approaches a reporter for a sensationalist magazine calls on video-shop rental owner Micha Hartung (a terrific and perfect Charly Hubner) to interview him about his alleged involvement in the biggest mass escape in the history of the GDR. A train that crossed from East Berlin to the West with not a shot fired.


Sensing a payoff, Micha hits up the suitably slimy journalist for some money to tell his story which he exaggerates for a bigger pay off. He was responsible for changing the points so the train could cross over to the West. Expecting it to be yesterday's news when it's published, his story becomes front…
