Spencer Frost is an outstanding surf film maker, but nothing is more of a challenge that getting to Kamchatka in Russia as war breaks out.  Along for the ride are pro surfers Fraser Dovell and Letty Mortensen and they eventually team up with Russian Anton Morozov who's motto is shred or die and who steals just about every scene in the film.

Helicopters, snow mobiles and sheer grit and deterimination get them to some of the wildest breaks in the world in one of the most inhospitable places in the world. Do eskimos surf? No. But these guys do and they even help out Anton and some Russian kids take on some waves and learn the ropes.

At one point in the film, Fraser says in typical deadpan Aussie style  " I'm stuck in a blizzard trying to get to a beach." That's how crazy it all is.

Letty Mortensen is another feel good character who makes the most of the situation and whose good vibe helps to Corners Of The Earth: KAMCHATKA a great surf film experience.

It also teaches up the importance of people over politics.

Just let people get on with it and turn the tanks off.
