Documentary- Biography All ages 95min
Sarah Shahverdi is a force of nature. She learnt to ride motorcycles with her father and is the only woman in this remote village of Iran that rides one. She's proud, intelligent and feisty . She delivers the post and becomes first elected councilwoman of her village---a cause for celebration for many and consternation in some---especially some of the men who are used to running everything.
In this 5 star documentary, we're introduced to Sarah immediately and her bold personality is apparent from the beginng. She wins office, takes on the men and tries to show the young girls of the village the joys of riding a motorcycle and advocates for them to extend their limited education rather than be married off early. From 13 onwards.
