Franco Amore (Favino) has always been an honest policeman who in 35 years of honorable service has never shot anyone. The night before his retirement, Franco is called to investigate a perplexing roadside crime scene. What he does not know is that this will be the longest and most challenging night of his life and everything that matters to him will be in danger: his role as a state servant, his great love for his wife Viviana, his relationship with his best friend and colleague, and even his own life.
