Whistle is a highly entertaining documentary in the spirit of The Golden Spurtle (the world's porridge championship film) that swings the lens onto the Masters of Musical Whistling competition in L.A. where people from around the world come to compete for the crown of the world's best.
It's a competition founded and organised by the commanding Carole Anne Kaufman, who operates the Hollywood event as a labour of love. She alternates between charm, grit and some frustration as she manages the fraught finances, technical mishaps, and the sometimes frail egos of the contestants.
