WOLFRAM was filmed on a rural property in the N-T and as always Warwick Thornton makes the most of the landscape. It looks spectacular.
The mining of tungsten aka Wolfram was a tough practice, like all endeavours in that part of Australia and in the settings here indigenous children Max and Kid have been roped in to helping a miner Billy ply his trade. Having been separated from their mother Pansy (Deborah Mailman) they don't have a lot of options.
